The Organisation: Aga Khun Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS,P), an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), is a not-for-profit company operating in Pakistan to provide primary and secondary health care to less-privileged populations. Working in Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa (KP), Punjab, Karachi and rural southern Sindh, AKHS, P operates 128 basic health care units mainly Family Health Centres and Maternal and Child Health Centres, together with eight comprehensive health care units in the north of Pakistan. AKIIS, P employs over 1000 medical and professional support staff countrywide. AKHS, P is collaborating as an implementing partner with international donors and the Government of Pakistan through public private partnerships (PPPs) to improve the health of communities. Coordinator Special Projects (Based in Islamabad):
– The incumbent will be responsible to monitor Quality Assurance of the project, and conduct need assessment through field visits, liaise with stakeholders and assist supervisor during inspection for all construction / engineering projects in AKHSP.
– Preferably, the candidate should be holding degree of B.E (Civil Engineering), with thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards. PMP certification will be an additional benefit with 5 years of relevant experience in construction projects preferably in health care industry. He should also have good command in MS Office and must possess good interpersonal and administrative skills.
