For M.Phil (Course WorK):

At least Sixteen Years of Studies (Master's Degree: MA. M.Sc.. MBA. MAS. MIS, M.Com, 4-Years B.S.. B.Pharm. Phanri D. MBBS. BDS. DVMj or its Equivalent Qualification with a: least Second Division in the relevant fie'd from a recognized University. However Candidates with MBBS. BDS. DVM or Equivalent Qualification will be required to undertake 15 Credit Hour Courses (300-600 Level) in addition to 24-Credit Hour M.Phil Courses (700 Level)

For M.S. (Surgery) i M.D. (Medicine):

Bachelors of Medicine and Baclielors of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) & BDS or Equivalent Qualification from a rocognizod University h addition to Ono Yoar Houso Job with valid PMDC Registration.

For Ph.D:

M.S.. M.Pharm. M.Phil. LL.M or its Equivalent Qualification in the relevant field from a recognized University

(The Admission will be granted on the basis of Test/ Interview to be held by the Departmental Research Committee (DRC) in accordance with the instructions given in the Admission Prospectus)

i) The Prospectus and KARACHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST FORM can be downloaded from the Website (University of Karachi : Welcome) and Complete Applicat on along with recuired Documents & Processing Fee of Rs 1.000 (Pay Order) in favour of University of Karachi can be submitted :o the respective Departments from APRIL 02 to APRIL 17, 2012. Incomplete and Lato Applications will not bo ontortainod.

•0 List of El gible Candidates for Karachi University Entrance Test will be displayed on Website and Departmental Notice Board on MONDAY. APRIL 23, 2012

iii) Eligible Candidates for KARACHI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE TEST wil be requred to collect Admit Cards dunng APRIL 24, 2012 to MAY 05, 2012 from the relevant Deoartments^Centres/ Institutes.

iv) The Karachi University Entrance Test w,ll be held or SUNDAY MAY 06. 2012 at 10:00 am. The Candidates are requ red to reoort at 9:30 am at their 'esoective Departments' Centres/Institutes along with Admit Card and Original CNIC.
