ADMISSION NOTICE

ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY (Regular & Self Supporting / Replica) SESSION 2012-2013

The Centre offers an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Psychology (ADCP) for post-master's Psychology students. It is spread over two semesters and a summer semester. This program includes in-depth supervised training in Psychological Assessments, Diagnosis and Psychotherapies. The students are also given practical exposure to deal with the patients both at the Centre for Clinical Psychology and in hospital settings under the supervision of Experienced Clinical Psychologist. Orientation about the resources, facilities, rules and regulations is provided before the commencement of classes and it is mandatory for the students to attend orientation program.

1. The candidates must have M.A. / M.Sc. in Psychology / Applied Psychology in First Division CGPA 2.5 or BS (Hons.) in Clinical Psychology from an HEC recognized University.

2. Extra credit will be given to those having work experience in a Psychiatric or Academic Setup.

3. The candidates have to pass an "Entry Test" with 50% marks.

4. Have to clear Interview taken by a panel of Clinical Psychologists.

5. No. of Seats ADCP (Regular): 20

6. No. of Seats ADCP (Self Supporting / Replica): 15

Note:

The merit will be worked out on the basis of:

• 50% weightage to the marks obtained by the candidate in M.A. / M.Sc. in Psychology / Applied Psychology in First division / CGPA 2.5 or BS (Hons.) in Clinical Psychology form an HEC Recognized University.

• 25% weightage to the marks obtained in Entry Test.

• 2% weightage to the marks obtained in Interview.

Applications on prescribed form available from the Office of the Centre for Clinical Psychology, University of the Punjab, Quaid-e-Azam Campus, Lahore and must reach the Director, Centre for Clinical Psychology latest by 12.07.2012

Incomplete Applications will not be entertained. Written Test at the Centre for Clinical Psychology, Punjab University, Lahore held on 17.07.2012. The list of candidates qualifying the Written Test will be displayed on 20.07.2012 and Interview of the qualified candidates will be held on 31.07.2012 at the Centre. c
