This Islam is Unacceptable

“Recite Kalma- Blew yourself with bomb –and you will enter Paradise where 72 virgins are waiting for you”. This is what has being taught by dangerous and radical Mullahs who are ruining the life of young people specially teenagers in Pakistan.

Recently, a would –be- suicide bomber was caught in Peshawar, Pakistan where he told the whole story about how the Radical Mullahs are recruiting young people in promising them a paradise and 72 virgins if they attain the level of “Shaheed” martyr.

The man explains that one night, as he was asleep in his home some men came knocking his door and asked him to come outside, as Mullah the head of the masjid have a job for him, the man first thought that there is some kind of emergency, so he rushed to masjid to see him, there was 20 more people sitting along with him, the Mullah said “ Subhan Allah “ the Angels of Allah are waiting for your sacrifice and 72 virgins that you will get for achieving the level of “ Shaheed”.

Is there anyone who will refuse the order of Allah? All the young guys raised their voice and said, “ No we cannot refuse the order of Allah and we are ready to die in the name of Allah, the most merciful and graceful and we will do what ever to achieve this great martyrdom.

Then that guy gets inside the van and there he was asked to wear a jacket which was laden with explosives and the driver said you have to detonate the bomb as soon as we enter the compound, then the driver of the van said “ Can you see the 72 virgins, they are right at the corner of the street and also in the skies, the guy said I couldn’t see anything, the driver said you would not be able to see the virgins unless you die and achieve the level of “ Shaheed”.

Then the driver began to drive with high speed and turning the vehicle on the road on zig zag way, the guy said why are you doing this, why are you driving this way? The driver said “ there are lots of virgins now on the streets and all are waiting with their open arms, so I am trying to avoid hitting them.

But as the van approaches the destination, the tire of the van busted and the van turn over and fell into the ravine, the law-enforcement officials who were happened to be on patrol rushed to the scene and remove the driver and the guy still laden with bomb around his body. The would –be suicide bomber and driver were arrested and waiting for trial in Peshawar at the moment.

The question is how Islam has become a joke and source of fun around the world, with this radical Mullah’s ideology. Where it is mentioned in Quran or any other Islamic book that by committing suicide, one can achieve Paradise. Is it that easy to enter Paradise? What about the teaching of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) who taught Islam his whole life, to be nice and courteous to all human beings. His life was a real Islam either you read Quran or follows his teachings; there is no difference at all. There are many other duties, that all Muslims has to do, Faith, Prayers, Fasting, Charity, Haj, so what happened to these things. Are these are not the part of Muslims duties? Is only suicide bombing is the duty of a Muslim? Why these radical Mullahs are trying to bring bad name to Islam. This suicide bombings is giving all Muslims a bad name and totally representing Islam in a wrong and violent way. Islam stood for justice and peace but not for killing innocent people. One must strongly condemn this acts of suicide bombings, these are evil acts and highly deplorable.

Let me recall one of the story of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), once the Prophet Mohammad was passing through the market, when he noticed a old woman carrying lot of stuff in her hand and barely can walk, Prophet Mohammad approached her and said “Let me help you carry your stuff to your home”, the old lady agreed and as soon as they reached home, Prophet Mohammad drop her stuff there and was about to leave when the old lady said “ You are a very nice man, but I should warn you that there is a man in our community , who is a magician , be careful of him”. The Prophet Mohammad said, “ who is that man, and what is his name? The lady said, “His name is Mohammad”. Prophet Mohammad smiled at her and said, “ I am Mohammad”. The lady was stunned to hear this and with tears in her eyes, she fell on the feet of Prophet Mohammad and said, “ Please Forgive me, I was wrong, and right at that moment she become a Muslim”.

Further, I refer to Quran to find out what about the suicide attacks and as far as I know that this is an evil act, and Quran does says in Surah An -Nisa verses 4:29 which is as following:


بِالْبَاطِلِ إِلاَّ أَن تَكُونَ تِجَارَةً عَن تَرَاضٍ مِّنكُمْ وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَنفُسَكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا (4:29)

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takuloo amwalakum baynakum bialbatili illa an takoona tijaratan AAan taradin minkum wala taqtuloo anfusakum inna Allaha kana bikum raheeman
· 4:29 O YOU who have attained to faith! Do not devour one another's possessions wrongfully - not even by way of trade based on mutual agreement - and do not destroy one another: for, behold, God is indeed a dispenser of grace unto you! -



Hadith - Qudsi 28
There was amongst those before you a man who had a wound. He was in [such] anguish that he took a knife and made with it a cut in his hand, and the blood did not cease to flow till he died. Allah the Almighty said: My servant has himself forestalled me; I have forbidden him Paradise.

...And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to

As far as 72 virgins are concern, I again refer to Quran to find out what is the truth behind this dilemma and why Muslims believe they will enter Paradise, once they kill themselves to become “Shaheed”martyr. For sure many Muslims like me would be happy to go to Paradise by killing themselves, but it sounds like non-sense and crazy to me because why would Allah create us on first place and asked all the Muslims to commit suicide for the sake of 72 virgins.

In the time of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), when the Islam was newly introduce he tried to convinced the people to embrace Islam, but the people became annoyed and anguish over his teaching and decided to kill Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), which then escalated to war and Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) and his companions defended Islam in the light of threat from being elimination, and thus that war becomes a “Jihad” to defend themselves from the enemy.

Those who died in the battlefield defending Islam were called as “Shaheed”, martyr and there are for those people Allah mentioned in Quran as “ Do not call them dead, they are alive”. Please refer to Surah Al-Imran versus 3:140 as following:



In yamsaskum qarhun faqad massa alqawma qarhun mithluhu watilka alayyamu nudawiluha bayna alnnasi waliyaAAlama Allahu allatheena amanoo wayattakhitha minkum shuhadaa waAllahu la yuhibbu alththalimeena
3:140 If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks MARTYR-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong.


Al-Imran (The Family of Imran) [3:170]

Fariheena bima atahumu Allahu min fadlihi wayastabshiroona biallatheena lam yalhaqoo bihim min khalfihim alla khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona
3:170 They rejoice in the bounty provided by Allah. And with regard to those left behind, who have not yet joined them (in their bliss), the (MARTYRs) glory in the fact that on them is no fear, nor have they (cause to) grieve.


At-Tauba (The Repentance) [9:52]


Qul hal tarabbasoona bina illa ihda alhusnayayni wanahnu natarabbasu bikum an yuseebakumu Allahu biAAathabin min AAindihi aw biaydeena fatarabbasoo inna maAAakum mutarabbisoona
9:52 Say: "Can you expect for us (any fate) other than one of two glorious things- (MARTYRdom or victory)? But we can expect for you either that Allah will send his punishment from Himself, or by our hands. So wait (expectant); we too will wait with you."

Now a day, any politicians who are killed in Pakistan are called “ Shaheed”, this is totally unacceptable and absolutely wrong, if a politicians dies as a result of gun wounds or Assassination Attempt, they did not die in the name of Islam nor they were defending Islam, they die for their own interest, therefore they should not be called “ Shaheed”, in another word “ Do not insult the name of “Shaheed”.

The name of “ Shaheed” is highly respectable name for those individuals who gave their lives for the sake of Islam. For example “ Shabah-Karam” the companions of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him).

According to the research the Quran never mentioned actual numbers as 72 virgins, but in Surah Rehman it is mentioned of Hoor which is as following:

حُورٌ مَّقْصُورَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ(55:72)

55:72 (Asad) [There the blest will live with their] companions pure [30] and modest, in pavilions [splendid]

Two points need to be noted. First, there is no mention anywhere in the Koran of the actual number of virgins available in paradise, and second, the dark-eyed damsels are available for all Muslims, not just martyrs. It is in the Islamic Traditions that we find the 72 virgins in heaven specified: in a Hadith (Islamic Tradition) collected by Al-Tirmidhi (died 892 CE [common era*]) in the Book of Sunan (volume IV, chapters on The Features of Paradise as described by the Messenger of Allah [Prophet Muhammad], chapter 21, About the Smallest Reward for the People of Paradise, (Hadith 2687). The same hadith is also quoted by Ibn Kathir (died 1373 CE ) in his Koranic commentary (Tafsir) of Surah Al-Rahman (55), verse 72: "The Prophet Muhammad was heard saying: 'The smallest reward for the people of paradise is an abode where there are 80,000 servants and 72 wives, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls, aquamarine, and ruby, as wide as the distance from Al-Jabiyyah [a Damascus suburb] to Sana'a [Yemen]'."
Modern apologists of Islam try to downplay the evident materialism and ***ual implications of such descriptions, but, as the Encyclopaedia of Islam says, even orthodox Muslim theologians such as al Ghazali (died 1111 CE) and Al-Ash'ari (died 935 CE) have "admitted sensual pleasures into paradise". The sensual pleasures are graphically elaborated by Al-Suyuti (died 1505 ), Koranic commentator and polymath. He wrote: "Each time we sleep with a houri we find her virgin. Besides, the penis of the Elected never softens. The erection is eternal; the sensation that you feel each time you make love is utterly delicious and out of this world and were you to experience it in this world you would faint. Each chosen one [ie Muslim] will marry seventy [sic] houris, besides the women he married on earth, and all will have appetising vaginas. The conclusion is that those Muslims who are committing suicide in the name of Allah, and they believe that they will be blessed with paradise and 72 virgins is absolutely a wrong concept. The Allah did mentioned hoor but only for those people who adopt Taqua. Taqua means leading a simple life by following Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him).

May Allah guide us in right direction, he is indeed guiding us by his Quran but we are continuously ignoring him. Now-a-days Muslims are getting humiliated in every field of life; it is not because of western countries or any agency but by their own deeds. We are asked not to tell lie, but we do, we were asked to not to be dishonest, but we are, we were asked to help and treat others with respect, which we never do. Muslims asked to live with unity, but we never did moreover, we divided ourselves and become Sunni and Shia. We were asked to share happiness and grieve, but we never did. We went totally the opposite way, which Islam asked us to do. Our deeds are worst then one can imagine, then why we should anticipate to be treated in a good way either in this world or on the Day of Judgment It is famously said “Baytreen Islam, Badtreen Muslman”. Islam is not the name of killings and bombings, Islam stand for peace and tolerance even if we accept that in Pakistan, some agency or country is responsible for such act, it is understood that without any Muslim involvement this evil acts cannot be carried out.
This raised another question whether Pakistan is a country of authority with Government, military and police, or just a wastebasket, where anyone can come and detonate bomb? Our belief in Islam has become so weak that we are afraid to use the name of “Mohammad”, because we might not get the job. We have now reached at the point where our return is impossible. Some Muslims don’t even bother to worry about what they are eating, even when they eat pork intentionally, they said “ Say Bismillah” and eat it, Allah is the most merciful and he will forgive us. How can a Muslim expect to be forgiving by Allah, when Allah said, “ Pork is Forbidden”. We must stand in front of mirror and say to ourselves “ Shame on us!!!!!!! Shame on us!!!!!!!! , Even shame may not come to us because the shame is feelings shame itself and have died long time ago.

In the light of what Muslims are doing they should ask this question to themselves whether they rightly deserve 72 Virgins?
