PST-JST-HST Teachers Jobs, Govt of Sindh Education Department jobs 20 April 2012

The Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh invites applications on prescribed proforma from eligible candidates having domicile of Sindh Province to fill in the following positions of Primary School Teachers (PST-BPS-9), Junior School Teacher (JST-BPS-14) and High School Teacher (HST-BPS-15) on contract basis for the period of three years. All the vacancies will be filled in through conducting test by third party. Government of Sindh, Education Department, reserves the right to increase / decrease the number of vacancies during the process of recruitment.

Age Limit (Years)

Intermediate at least 2nd Division from a recognized Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education or Graduate from a recognized university. (Preference will be given to Graduates*)

JST (Science): Graduate (Science) at least in 2nd Division from a recognized University.

JST (General): Graduate (General Group) at least in 2nd Division from a recognized University.

HST (Science): Masters (Science) at least 2nd Division from a recognized University and B.Ed.

HST (General): Masters (General Group) at least 2nd Division from a recognized University and B.Ed.

(*) The preference will only be given to Graduates, if there is a tie in the final score between the candidates who appeared on

the qualifying of Intermediate and who appeared on as Graduate.

1. Appointment of teachers shall be on contract basis for a period of three years from the date of joining. The contract appointment shall be School Specific. The merit shall be determined as under:

For the appointment of PST, the merit will be determined on the basis of Union Councils, subject to the availability of need based vacancy in UC of candidate.

For the appointment of JST, the merit will be determined on the basis of Union Councils, subject to the availability of need based vacancy in UC of candidate, and; iii. For the appointment of HST, the merit will be determined on the basis of District, subject to the availability of need based vacancy in Taluka of candidate.

2. The Competent Authority has the right to terminate the contract at any time on the basis of unsatisfactory performance. A notice of 30 days will be required to be given by a teacher in case he/she intends to resign from his/her service.

3. The service of contract teacher is non-pensionable.

4. The application forms and the details of vacant positions are available at RSU official website Reform Support Unit - RSU.

5. After closing date no applications will be entertained. The receiving office will not be responsible for late reception of the application through courier.

6. The government employees should apply through proper channel.

7. Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

8. No TA/DA is admissible for test or interview.

9. The application fee of Rs. 200/- for PST, Rs. 250/- for JST and Rs. 300/- for HST may be deposited in the nearest government treasury or in a branch of National Bank of Pakistan or in a state treasury authorized to transact business on behalf of government of Sindh under the head of account: "Government of Sindh Non-Food A/C-I-C02818-Education-Others".

12. Rejection due to non-submission of mandatory documents:

All applications should be accompanied / followed by Original Treasury Receipt (Deposit of Fee), Departmental Permission Certificate (in case of in service candidates), three attested photographs and attested copies of domicile certificate, Computerized National Identity Card, Matriculation / Intermediate Certificates, Bachelors Degrees with Marks Certificate, Experience Certificates. In case of non-submission of any of the aforementioned documents, the application shall be rejected and no appeal or review application shall be entertained in this regard.

13. The application forms, complete in all respects, must reach the District Education Officer (DEO) concerned office by closing office hours on or before May 20, 2012.
