CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, South Asia’s premier Business School seeks the services of energetic, dedicated, committed and result-oriented individuals for the following positions:

1- Executive CEE – Center for Executive Education:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative support to the CEE, coordinate with faculty and clients’ and undertaking ground research for both open and client-specific programs. The successful candidate will liaise with faculty members in developing programs with following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

•    Maintaining and updating clients’ database

•    Assist faculty in arranging Faculty and Business Interactive Forums for courses design and market need assessments

•    Assisting with the scheduling of training sessions, and booking/notifying all relevant parties

Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s; preferably MBA in Marketing, MA in Communication from HEC recognized University/Institute with at least 2 to 3 years’ of experience in corporate relations or similar work with excellent communication (verbal & written), strong interpersonal & presentation skills.

•    Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience of dealing Public Relation, Event Management and writing exposure will be considered an added advantage.

2- Executive – National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP):

The successful incumbent will be responsible for marketing the National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP) in different regions of Pakistan. The incumbent will provide administrative and logistical support to the NTHP, trainers and trainees and organizing activities at the Centre with following assignments:

Key Responsibilities:

•    Maintaining and updating the Database of new/existing student’s

•    Maintaining of Students’, Donors’, Project records

•    Ability to promote NTHP/STHP/SFP programs by using social media and social networks for all internal and external stakeholders

•    Identifying new and potential candidates for its programs

•    Assisting with the scheduling of training sessions, and booking/notifying all relevant parties

•    Coordinating with the faculty & mentors for course design, course material and course related activities

Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s Degree from HEC recognized University/Institute with at least 2 to 3 years’ of experience in corporate relations or similar work with excellent communication (verbal & written), s/he must be proficient in Database Management, Public Relation and Social Media.

•    Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience of dealing Public Relation, Event Management and writing exposure, will be considered an added advantage.

3- Executive – Vehicle Maintenance:

The successful incumbent will supervise smooth operations, maintenance and repair of all HTV & LTV vehicles of IBA. Major

responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

•    Access existing logistics operations systems and advise on corrective measures to be undertaken

•    Ensure the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of new initiatives and procedures related to logistics

•    Keep maintenance and repair records of each vehicle and monitor preventive maintenance program

•    Examine reports for accuracy on each vehicle repaired; write reports on vehicles repaired

•    Assist in development of maintenance budget and include review of past expresses

•    Coordinate with insurance company in case of any damage & repair

•    Check all repair work performed in workshop for completeness. This includes physical inspections and road tests before vehicle is turned back to user outlets.

Requirements:

•    B. Tech Mechanical or DAE (Auto & Diesel) from HEC recognized University/Institute with atleast 2 to 3 years’ of relevant experience in maintenance of all type of vehicles with excellent communication (verbal & written). Candidates having BA Degree with atleast 4 to 5 years’ of relevant work experience can also apply.

•    Proficient in use of computer for office work
