The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Pakistan is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following vacancies in our main delegation in Islamabad:

Ortho-Prosthetist Consultant:

Requirements:
– Ortho-Prosthetist (P&O) with master degree or equivalent.
– 5 years of post-graduate practical experience as Ortho-Prosthetist.
– Good written and spoken English and Urdu; at minimum basic Pashto, Sindhi and Balochi an asset
– Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Analytical and reporting skills.
– Proactive, motivated, sense of responsibility, organizational skills, ability to take initiative and to work independently according to objective rather than job description.
– Team spirit and openness to work within a foreign-based institution and willingness to adhere to its modus operandi
– Ability to liaise and represent the ICRC with authorities and other organizations/ institutions/as well as communities and individuals.
– Good communication, negotiating and diplomatic skills.
– Resistant to stressful situations, patience, perseverance, adaptable self-confidence.
– Ability to exercise discretion and respect confidentiality.
– Ability and willingness to advance and assume responsibility.
– Flexibility to travel.

Responsibilities:
– Works closely with other ICRC (PRP) staff, consultants and partners and provide progress updates to the PRP Coordinator.
– Serves as the primary point person for all P&O monitoring and evaluation related work.
– Develops and refines various data collection instruments (both quantitative and qualitative), and maintains a results database to aggregate data.
– Manages the information-gathering process for results and performance reports, in addition to other briefings, summaries, papers, presentations, etc. for various audiences as needed. Spends 80% of his/her time in field for monitoring and evaluation of PRP activities.
– Trains ICRC PRP staff and partners on the accurate use of the monitoring systems, providing ongoing coaching/support through regular site monitoring visits, and ensure quality control and problem solving as needed.
– Documents good practices, lessons learned trends, cross-cutting policy and implementation issues, etc.
– Research and collect content and stories about the project’s achievements.

Physiotherapy Consultant:

Requirements:
– Physiotherapist with Master degree or equivalent.
– Five years of post-graduate practical experience as Physiotherapist, including amputees management/treatment.
– Good written and spoken English and Urdu; at minimum basic Pashto; Sindhi and Balochi an asset.
– Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).
– Analytical and reporting skills.
