Vacancy Announcement – Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP) is the lead on the USAID funded Health Communication Project (HCP). The HCP is mandated to improve health-seeking behaviours and build the capacity of Government, civil society organizations and private partners to design, implement, and evaluate Social and Behaviour Change Communication interventions for improved maternal and child health care in Pakistan. CCP is seeking applications from qualified professionals for the Karachi based position of Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist (SMES).
CCP aims to carry out formative, implementation monitoring and summative evaluations of activities. The SMES will be responsible for the overall design, data collection and reporting of these 3 types of evaluations. Moreover, the SMES will prepare regular reports for donors, team members and will also provide input to various presentations and research papers produced by other team members. He/ She will develop/adapt valid and reliable data recording tools and oversee their administration by the consortium partners and research agencies. Moreover, the SMES will also oversee the design/adaptation of IT-based software that can be used by all the partners for recording data during the implementation monitoring. The SMES will carry out periodic field visits to provide on-job coaching to field teams and to ensure data quality.
