Strong ability to interact with clients and organization in related industry (either in a BD or technical role) Held a similar business development/sales role in an engineering technical service based organization OR has demonstrable experience in managing client relationships and fostering new business & an aptitude for the same Track-record of successfully executing complex transactions with multiple parties Understanding of engineering and renewable energy systems Desire to play a key role building a high growth company Capabilities: Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients Executive presence, outgoing with strong communication and presentation skills Highly energetic and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence Client facing experience Understands clients’ needs Excellent verbal and written communication skills, at least in English and Urdu languages Ability to write technical reports Self-motivated, self-starter who can work independently when necessary

Reporting to the General Manager and the CEO, Business Development will lead the development and
execution of solar power system sales with high value customers.This role is responsible for the promotion and
sales development of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems to commercial accounts and portfolio clients. He or she
will be expected to initiate and manage senior relationships as well as to execute the contractual aspects of a
solar deal. Experience structuring transactions that maximize economic value, executing deals, building
relationships and managing people is required, as well as the desire and entrepreneurial mindset to operate
successfully as a senior leader within a fast-paced, early-stage company environment.
Independently lead customer engagements and sales efforts in Pakistan for Alpha Solar’s products including
energy storage, home energy management, and other related products.
In your commercial and business development capacity you will both initiate and close leads.
Implementing and executing a highly efficient deal execution process
Having good business development experience, you will also be an effective communicator able to work
effectively on your own with sound spoken and written English language skills.
Develop a sales plan and manage pipeline in order to hit sales targets while delivering accurate sales and
Identify and pursue key business development opportunities.
Managing multiple live deals simultaneously, while developing and accessing others.
Interfacing with the Operations team on all structural and technical solar project aspects.
Develop, build and manage internal and external relationships.
Develop comprehensive proposals to customers, including proposal documents and pricing.
This position reports to the Manager of Business Development, Residential and Commercial Energy Solutions.
Job is located in Alpha Solar’s Johar Town, Lahore office. Travel to customers within Pakistan will be required
but will not typically expected to exceed 70 percent.
Ideally you will have experience or knowledge of the Pakistan solar industry and its key players, government
