Land Records Management & Information Systems, A Project of Punjab Government, Funded by World Bank

Employment Opportunities:
Land Records Management & Information Systems is a major project of the Government of Punjab being executed by the Board of Revenue with financial assistance of the World Bank. Applications from Punjab domiciled candidates are invited for appointment on contract basis against the following posts in the project:-

1- Assistant Database Administrator:
Requirements: BCS (4 years) OR Master in IT/Computer Sciences from a recognized university / institution. 1-2 cars of experience with experience in database administration, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance of any database management system in an operational and online transaction processing environment at a local or foreign organization of good repute is required. Must have designed, deployed and maintained a backup and recovers strategy for an online transaction processing system

2- Data Center Infrastructure Engineer:
Requirements: 16 years Education. BCS(Hons) / M.Sc (comp Sci) /MIT /M.sc (Electrical!/ M.sc (Electronics) Must be CCNP certified 3-5 years of experience. Hands on experience of Cisco / Huawei Routers, Switches. Firewall and network infrastructure. Hand on Experience of SAN. Tape Library and Windows Servers. Working Experience of virtualization and cloud computing. Experience maintaining HVAC Mechanical, UPS systems, electrical, fire-life-safety, generator, plumbing, OSHA compliance, building/fire codes, EMS system operation, power management and preventive maintenance.

3- Civil Engineer:
Requirements: B.Sc Civil Engineering (at least 1st division) from recognized institution. At least 5 years experience in construction field.

4- Assistant Manager (HR):
Requirements: Master’s in HRM or equivalent (at least 2nd division) from recognized institution. Minimum 3 years experience of Human Resource Management in large public/private sector organization.

5- Provincial Network System Administrator:
Requirements: Bachelors (4 years) OR Masters in IT/Computer Sciences/Electronics (2M Division) from HEC recognized university/institution. CCNA Certification. 2 years experience of design installation and maintenance of Local. Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN). Servers/Clients in an operational and online transaction processing environment at a local or foreign organization of good repute.

6- Manager Web Development:
Requirements: Bachelors (4 years) OR Masters in IT/Computer Sciences (2nd Division) from HEC recognized university/institution 3 years experience at a local or foreign organization of good repute in a similar role and position

7- System Architect:
Requirements: Bachelors (4 years) OR Masters in IT/Computer Sciences/Electronics (2nd Division) from HEC recognized university/institution. At least 3 years hands-on pos( qualification experience in System Analysis and Design with a reputed IT organization. At least 3 years of experience in software development using Microsoft. NET tools and technologies, SQL server DBMS and Oracle DBMS. Should have track record of demonstrated skills in OOAD. Business & Process Modeling, Application and Database Design preferably using UML and RUP in actual project.

8- Software Developer:
Requirements: Bachelors (4 years) OR Masters in IT/Computer Sciences/Electronics (2nd Division) from HEC recognized university/institution. Must have at least 3 years hands-on post qualification experience in software development, with a reputed IT organization using MS .NET tools and technologies (ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL Server 2005, AJAX, BI Studio, Crystal Report etc.) and Oracle tools (e.g.; Oracle 10g, PL/SQL etc.). Should have good understanding of SDLC, System Modeling tools and techniques such as UML and RUP.

9- QA Engineer:
Requirements: Bachelors (4 years) OR Masters in IT/Computer Sciences/Electronics (2nd Division) from HEC recognized university/institution. Must have at least 3 years hands-on post qualification experience in software development with 2 years in software testing. Should have track record of demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing test strategies, test cases and test plans in actual projects. Should have a good understanding of software Testing and QA standards Knowledge and experience of software testing tools such as QTP, Rational Robot, Test Director etc. will be an advantage.

10- Assistant Divisional Project Coordinator:
Requirements: Masters or Bachelors (4 years) in IT/Computer Sciences (2nd division) from a recognized institution. Minimum 2 years of IT experience with at least I year experience in Database Administration, Installation, Troubleshooting, Maintenance of any Database Management System in an Operational and Online Transaction Processing Environment at a Local or Foreign Organization of repute. Experience in Land Revenue shall be considered an added advantage. OR Bachelors (3 years) in IT/Computer Sciences (2nd division) from a recognized institution. Minimum 3 years of IT experience with at least 2 year experience in Database Administration, installation. Troubleshooting, Maintenance of any Database Management System in an Operational and Online Transaction Processing Environment at a Local or Foreign Organization of repute.
Note: Experience in Land Revenue shall be considered an added,

11- Mobilization Officer:
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Social Work/Sociology/Mass Communication. At least 3 years relevant experience of working at community level/field within public/private sector. Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills. Familiarity with local language, customs and tradition will be an added advantage.

12- Assistant:
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (2nd division) from a recognized Institute Minimum 3 years experience in the relevant field.

13- Computer Operator:
Requirements: Intermediate (2nd division) from a recognized institute. At least 3 months certificate in Computer/IT application. Minimum Typing Speed 40 W.P.W on computer. Note: Minimum 2 years experience in the relevant field will be preferred.

14. Generator Operator:
Requirements: DAE (Electrical/Mechanical), OR Matric with One year Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical 2) 2 Years experience of relevant work.

– Applications accompanied by CV, copies of attested educational certificates, experience certificates, one passport size photograph, copies of CNIC & Domicile should reach the undersigned during office hours by 13.04.2015.
– Appointments will be subject to terms and conditions as determined by the Government of the Punjab. Public sector employees may also apply with the permission of respective Head of the Departments.
– Number of posts can be increased /decreased for Service Centre in accordance with the sanctioned strength for District/Tehsil as per requirement without any notice.
– Only short listed candidates will be called for interview and no TA/DA shall be admissible for the purpose.
– Envelopes must be clearly marked with the post applied for.
– The selected candidates will be on probation for 90 days.
– The following quotas shall continue to be observed for the above mentioned posts on contract basis, a) 2% quota for disabled persons b) 5% quota for minorities c) 15% quota for women d) 20% quota for the children of serving/retired government servants in BS-1 to 5, from representative department.
