(Faculty and Non-Faculty Positions)

The University of Swat requires the services of dynamic and career oriented professionals on permanent basis. Applications on prescribed forms are invited from male and female having Pakistani Nationality for the following teaching and non-teaching positions.

Associate Professor fBS-20) No. of posts 09 One each in the department of Business Administration, Computer Science jcation. Economics, Environmental Scicnces, Development Studies, Law Sl Shari’a, Statistics and Microbiology.

islification & Experience; Ph n in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with at least 10 years ! teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. OR 05 years Post-PhD teaching/ research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Post graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

Publications: The applicant must have 12 research publications (with at least 04 publications in last 05 years) in the HEC recognized journals

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

•    Candidates already in-service of a Govemmcnt/Semi-Govemmcnt Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through

proper channel by the due date; otherwise their application will not be entertained Incomplete applications and those received after the last date will not be entertained

•    University of Swat reserves the right not to fill any post, withhold the appointment of any advertised post or to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.

•    Candidates applying for the post of Associate Professor are required to submit five sets (one original & four Photo copies) of applications, and for all other posts are required to submit one set of application on the prescribed form along with attested copies of degrees, result cards/transcripts, and certificates with research work / publications. In all cases, statement of experience must be supported by certificates from the employers.

•    Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application form with necessary documents, complete in all respect.

•    Applicants applying for post of BS-20 should send online deposit of Rs.2,500/- (Evaluation fee) and for BS -19 and 17 an online deposit of Rs. 1000/-.

•    Application forms should be sent through courier service/registered mail.

•    The application forms will be available at Allied Bank Saidu Sharif as well as can be downloaded from: wwwjwatunivcrsity.cdu.pk

•    The application form shall be accompanied by online deposit slip in the name of University of Swat account No. 0362-011640001 • 1 Allied Bank Saidu Sharif Swat

•    Complete application form must reach to the Office of the Additional Registrar University of Swat latest by T September, 2011 (04:00 p.m)

•    Age limit for all the posts will be calculated as per Government Policy.

NOTE: a) Short listing of candidates shall be made in accordance with the procedure laid down by the University.

b)    Number of posts can be increased/decreased according to the need of the University.

c)    Nature of post can be changed according to the need of the University.

d)    The University will not be responsible for non-receipt / delay of call-letters and the matter should be settled with the concerned post office or courier service.    uaflflan th«r
