Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS,P), an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), is a not-for-profit company operating in Pakistan to provide basic and comprehensive health care to less-privileged populations. Working in Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, parts of Khyber Pakhtnnkhuwa (KPK), Punjab, Karachi and rural southern Sindh, AKHS,P operates 128 health care facilities, mainly comprising of basic health centres which include family health centres and maternal and child health centres, together with eight comprehensive health care centres in the north of Pakistan. AKHS, P employs over 1100 medical and professional support staff countrywide. AKHS,P is also collaborating as an implementing partner with international donors and the Government of Pakistan through public private partnerships (PPPs) to improve the health of communities. Manager Human Resource (Based in Islamabad)
The incumbent will work as a strategic partner of AKHS,P and will be responsible for leading an effective workforce planning and resourcing, developing and maintaining a human resource information system, developing policies and procedures, implementing the approved compensation and benefits strategies and systems, facilitating training and development activities across the organisation, reviewing performance management systems, developing effective employee relations, feedback mechanism, inducting quality IIR, implementing IIR best practices and achieving strategic objectives of HR department, which are aligned with AKHS,P objectives. S/He should be MBA in HRM with at least 7-8 years of relevant experience and should have good interpersonal, communication, analytical, leadership, presentation skills and should have excellent MS Office skills.
Gynaecologist (Based in Chitral)
The incumbent will be responsible to provide care to patients in OPD and admitted patients, conduct surgeries and provide post-operative care. S/He should be FCPS with at least 3 years of experience.
General Surgeon (Based in Chitral)
The candidate should be FCPS, registered with PMDC and at least 5 years of experience. S/He would be responsible to carry our major and minor surgical procedures including post operational care to patients.
Regional Head Punjab & Cliitral (Based in Chitral)
The incumbent will be responsible to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate health care programmes in Punjab, KPK and Chitral regions. S/He will work in liaison with the government wherever necessary and other institutions working in the area. S/He will also assist Head of Operation in achieving the defined and agreed targets by developing a motivated and focused team approach in the region. S/He should have Master’s degree preferably in Public Health/allied field/management with at least 7 to 8 years of relevant experience.
