The Organisation: Aga Khun Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS,P), an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), is a not-for-profit company operating in Pakistan to provide primary and secondary health care to less-privileged populations. Working in Gilgit-Baltistan, Chitral, other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa (KP), Punjab, Karachi and rural southern Sindh, AKHS, P operates 128 basic health care units mainly Family Health Centres and Maternal and Child Health Centres, together with eight comprehensive health care units in the north of Pakistan. AKIIS, P employs over 1000 medical and professional support staff countrywide. AKHS, P is collaborating as an implementing partner with international donors and the Government of Pakistan through public private partnerships (PPPs) to improve the health of communities. At a time of great change and with many exciting initiatives and ambitions for the future, AKHS, P provides a uniquely challenging work environment.

Regional Head Punjab & Chitral (Based In Chitral):
– The incumbent will be responsible to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate Health Care Programmes in Punjab, KPK and Chitral regions. S/he will work in liaison with the government wherever necessary and other institutions working in the area. S/he will also assist Head of Operation in achieving the defined and agreed targets by developing a motivated and focused team approach in the region.
– The candidate should have Master’s degree preferably in public health / allied field / management with at least 7 to 8 years of relevant experience.
