Associate Financial Control Analyst
The ADB-Pakistan Resident Mission (PRM) was established to assist its Headquarters in the implementation of projects and programs, in project processing, country programming, and economic and sector work. It also coordinates ADB’s activities with other resident diplomatic and donor missions, NGOs, academic institutions, local think tanks, private sector and other members of the civil society.
Description of Responsibilities
Provide support through the performance of a variety of specialized duties relating to the loan disbursement function of the Pakistan Resident Mission.

Selection Criteria Specific criteria include
■ Suitability to undertake the responsibilities mentioned above at the required level
■ Bachelor’s degree. Professional qualifications in accounting or finance an advantage
■ At least 5 years relevant work experience, preferably with at least two years in international multilateral and bilateral agencies
■ Good writing and speaking skills in English are essential
■ Proven ability to do background economic research and analysis on difficult but well-defined tasks; collect and organize required data and information, apply appropriate computer skill in analyzing and developing the data and prepare sectoral notes, analytical papers and sections of report
■ Good analytical thinking with ability to make simple causal link, pro- and con- lists and analyses to reach decision and set priorities for task in order of importance
■ Ability to establish and maintain productive contacts with appropriate official of host government, donor agencies and executing agencies
■ Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with individuals from different cultural/national backgrounds
■ Good computer skills with sound knowledge of common word-processing, spreadsheets and graphics software and database management
■ Able to provide guidance to other Administrative Staff on assigned area of work
■ Able to liaise and work effectively with government officials within own work location and with colleagues throughout ADB
■ Able to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team member
■ Familiarity with local languages and institutions
