CHIP Training and Consulting (CTC) (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking applications to fill 200 full time positions of *Union Council Communication Support Officer (UCO)’ tc 500 full time positions of “Social Mobilizer (SM)” for the following districts for Polio Eradication Initiative (PEI) in Pakistan
VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Union Council Communication Support Officer (UCO) Eligibility Criteria

Qualification Sc Experience Required:

►    Graduation & above, with social sciences/community development background.

►    Minimum 2 years of experience in community mobilization or working with NGOs, NGO networks and liasing with Government agencies/partners.

►    Should preferably belong to and residing in the district s/he is applying for.

Competenclea Required:

►    Evidence of excellent communication skills particularly supervising community level workers.

►    Capacity of handling funds/accounting and reporting requirements.

►    Posses good understanding of both social and cultural dimensions of local population and high-risk groups in the areas.

►    Medium proficiency in English language required (both written and spoken) and high proficiency for local languages including Urdu.
Social Mobilizer (SM) Eligibility Criteria

Profile / Qualification Sc Experience Required:

►    Minimum Education, Intermediate, preferably Bachelors

►    Female preferred, over 21 of years of age.

►    Reside in key village or HRA to be covered by her.

►    Must belong to the undcrserved community in that area.

►    Basic skills in Urdu reading and writing.

►    Strong interpersonal communication skills; dynamic and forceful personality.

►    Well respected in their community, although not necessarily the most influential.

►    Able to give time required for the assignment.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa QCPK): Charsada. Mardan, Nowshera & Peshawar Balochistan: Jafferabad, Killa Abdullah, Nasirabad, Pishin & Quetta Fata; Bajour, Khyber, Kurram, Mohmand, Orakzai, North Waziristan & South Waziristan
