Support to Good Governance Programme

‘As a federal enterprise, the Deutsche Gesellschaft (ur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ implements the Support to Good Governance Programme on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), which is seeking candidates for the following positions:

Job title: Two (2) Administration Officers

(Reference no. SGGP 2015/028) Duty Station: Lahore and Peshawar

Qualifications and Experience:

•    BA or Master Degree in Business Administration or Social Sciences

•    At least 4-6 years of professional work experience in a similar position

•    Applicants having administration as well as accounting/financial administration work experience will be preferred

•    Sound knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

•    Excellent skills in English Language (writing, reading and speaking)

•    Supervisory experience of a team of 3 to 5 staff members

Job title: Finance Officer (Reference no. SGGP 2015/029) Duty Station: Lahore

Qualifications and Experience:

•    BA/B.Corn./Master Degree in Business Administration with a focus on accounting or related area and/or CA Articleship

•    Training Certificate in GIZ accounting system will be of advantage

•    Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

•    4-5 years of professional work experience in a comparable position

•    Excellent skills in English Language (writing, reading and speaking)

Job title: Two (2) Finance Assistants (Reference no. SGGP 2015/030) Duty Station: Lahore and Peshawar

Qualifications and Experience:

•    Intermediate (FA) or certificate/diploma in accounting from a recognized Institute Applicants having B.Com/BBA (Finance) will be preferred

•    1 – 3 years professional experience in a comparable position

•    In depth knowledge of accounting software

•    Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

•    Good skills in English Language (writing, reading and speaking)

Job title: Logistics and Event Management Officer

(Reference no. SGGP 2015/031)

Duty Station: Peshawar_

Qualifications and Experience:

•    BA/B.Com. or MBA or Social Sciences degree from a recognized University

•    Certificate/diploma in Event Management from a reputable institute (desired)

•    3 to 5 years work experience in a similar position

•    Training Certificate “Effective Communication Skills” (preferred)

•    Applicants having previous GIZ work experience will be preferred

•    Excellent wording knowledge of IT and communication (phone, fax and email)

•    Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and outlook)

•    Good command in English Language (speaking, writing and reading)

•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

•    Highly service oriented attitude
Job title: Junior Logistics and Event Management Officer

(Reference no. SGGP 2015/032) Duty Station: Lahore

Qualifications and Experience:

•    BA/B.Com. or MBA or Social Sciences degree from a recognized University

•    Certificate/diploma in Event Management from a reputable institute (desired)

•    At least up to 1 year work experience in a similar position

•    Training Certificate “Effective Communication Skills” (preferred)

•    Excellent working knowledge of IT and communication (phone, fax and email)

•    Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and outlook)

•    Good command in English Language (speaking, writing and reading)

Qualifications and Experience:

•    Good skills in English Language (writing, reading and speaking)

Job title: Two (2) Receptionists (Reference no. SGGP 2015/034) Duty Station: Lahore and Peshawar

Qualifications and Experience:

•    Secondary School Certificate (SSC), FA/BA (desirable)

•    Certificate in Effective Communication Skills (preferred)

•    1 to 2 years work experience in a comparable position

•    Excellent working knowledge of IT and communication (phone, fax and email)

•    Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and outlook)

•    Good command in English Language (speaking, writing and reading)

•    Highly service oriented attitude
Qualifications and Experience:

•    Primary school education

•    Applicants having prior GIZ work experience will be preferred

•    At least 1 to 3 years work experience in a comparable position

•    More than specified work experience may substitute the required qualification

•    Basic knowledge of English language (spoken and understanding) will be preferred
