EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR HR & WORKS

Pakistan International Airlines is in a revival state and undergoing rapid transformation. Due to the growth plans, fast developing network and restructuring, an Executive Director HR & Works is required to undertake the challenges.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

■    Lead and manage full spectrum of Human Resources Services and play a key role in facilitating change management under organizational development & business process re-engineering as head of HR.

■    Build a team to carry out civil projects and maintain all civil works and installations including gas, water and mechanical utilities and sewerage systems, effectively and economically.

■    Mark detailed planning for projects and develop cost estimates for presentation to management.

■    Ensure that contracts are written to permit the desired financial and progress of work controls.

■    Proact, identify, develop and retain future leaders through coaching, leadership development programs and succession planning.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

Over 15 years management experience in HR & Administration role, preferably in International Aviation field out of which 10 years should be at Senior Management level.

■    Masters or higher degree preferably in HR or Business Administration/ Public Administration with major in HR or in a related area of study.

■    Be strategic minded, service oriented and focused.

■    Familiar with labor laws specially in Pakistan.

■    Conversant with modern systems of remuneration / compensation, modern organizational structure, International HR practices etc.

■    Should have an experience of managing large organization at mid to high level managerial post.

■    Should have the capability of setting up the department from scratch to cope with the planned growth of the airline.

■    Must display a proven leadership record with a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire the team to deliver organizational objectives.

■    Required to be result oriented, flexible in approach and able to produce results in a challenging environment.

■    Natural relationship builder with ability to engage and influence internal parties.

■    Position is based in PIA Head Office, Karachi, Pakistan.
