FOR PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION UNIT (PIU) IN CONNECTION WITH CHINA-PAKISTAN ECONOMIC CORRIDOR (CPEC)
Pakistan Railways has opportunities for suitably qualified, experienced professionals to serve in Project Implementation Unit of Pakistan Railways at Headquarters Office, Lahore against the following posts for appointment on contract basis.

2 Financial Analyst MP-II • Chartered Accountant or FCMA • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in financial management Cooperate finance, Cost Accounting, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Statistical analysis, Financial Planning & Strategy, Financial Skills, Comparison and Analysis of Financial statements, Investment Analysis, Financial & Economic Analysis, Automated accounting applications, provision of high quality support services to project management, advanced I.T skills. Up to 45 years
3 Project Planning Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist MP-II • Bachelors Degree in civil engineering. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be preferred • 10 years relevant experience in Planning/ Scheduling of multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. • Qualified in primavera or TILOS Excellent hands-on skill in preparation of project plans/schedules, work break down structures and costing of activities etc. Up to 45 years
4 Transportation Specialist MP-II • Skill versed in transportation economics, multi-modal analysis, traffic forecasting • Masters in Transportation Engineering 10 years experience in relevant field Well versed in transportation economics, multi-modal analysis, traffic forecasting. Modeling and simulation of passenger and freight trains for both infrastructure planning and operations analysis. Up to 45 years
5 Traffic Specialist (Freight & Passenger) MP-II • B.Sc Engineering in any field or Masters degree in any subject • 25 years relevant experience of dealing with Railway Operations including Freight & Passenger Planning end scheduling for Freight & Passenger train operation for optimal use of commercial & transportation resources for revenue growth Up to 65 years
6 Infrastructure Specialist (Track & Bridges) MP-II • Bachelors Degree in civil engineering • 25 years experience of Construction & Maintenance of Track and Bridges in any Railway organization Engineering analysis of projects including preliminary design, developing specifications for civil engineering/track works, mechanization of track maintenance and construction. Up to 65 years
7 Signaling and Telecommunication Specialist MP-II • Bachelors Degree in Telecommunication or Electrical/Electronics • 25 years relevant experience of designing, onstruction and Maintenance of Railway Signaling and Telecommunication Quality assurance of signaling & Telecom, developing specifications for modem signaling. Good knowledge of ERTONS/ ETCS applications and different levels of signaling, track circuiting, axle censors etc. Up to 65 years
8 Rolling stock Specialist (Loco & carriage) MP-II • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering • 25 years relevant experience of manufacturing and Maintenance of Locomotive & Rolling stock Railway operations, maintenance of trains (rolling stock), developing maintenance facilities/depots, assembling, manufacturing of Locomotives Carriages and wagons. Up to 65 years
9 Electric Traction/ Electrical Specialist MP-II • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering • 15 years experience in Electrification/ Electric Traction and Railway Train lighting Designing, construction, operation maintenance of Electric Traction and Power system. Up to 65 years
10 Contract Management and Legal Specialist MP-II • Bachelors Degree in relevant field • 15 years of relevant experience in Contract Management B.Sc Civil engineering with LLB Drawing up procurement contracts, Negotiation with contractors, Monitoring contracts for contractual obligations, amendments to contracts, dispute resolution, arbitration, well versed with PPRA rules, PEC bidding documents, analysis of prices Up to 45 years
11 Procurement Specialist MP-I II • Bachelors degree in Civil/Mechanical or Electrical engineering • 15 years experience of procurement/ purchase of commodities/ Works and entrusting in a big multi disciplinary organization Well versed with Public Procurement rules, PEC bidding documents, FIDDIC, Preparation of bidding documents, Evaluation criteria (Knowledge of World Bank, ADB, IDB evaluation criteria) Bidding process as per PPRA rules, drawl of Contract agreement & bidding process under EPC & EPC + F modes etc. Up to 45 years
12 Accounts and Audit Officer BS-18 • Masters in Commerce • 10 years experience in relevant field • Well versed with preparation of Government & Commercial accounts, book keeping and internal audit practices etc. • Good knowledge of relevant computer applications. Up to 45 years
13 Admin Officer BS-18 • Masters in Public administration or BBA(Hons) • 10 years experience in relevant field • Well versed in MS office. Up to 45 years
14 Personal Secretary BS-17 • Bachelors degree in any field • 5 years experience in relevant field • Short hand with excellent computer skills in MS office • Short hand (minimum 80 words per minute). • Typing speed of 40 words per minute. Up to 45 years
15 Data Entry Operator (4 Nos) BS-14 • Bachelors degree in any field • 5 years experience in relevant field • Excellent computer skills in MS office Up to 30 years
16 Admin Assistant (2 Nos) BS-14 • Bachelors degree in any field • Computer skills in MS office Up to 30 years
17 Accounts Assistant/ Stores Incharge BS-14 • Bachelors in Commerce • 5 years experience in relevant field Up to 30 years
18 Receptionist BS-9 • F.Sc/F.A/I.Com • Well versed in MS Office Up to 30 years
19 Drivers (9 Nos) BS-6 • Matric • Valid Driving License (LTV) • 5 years experience in relevant field Up to 30 years
20 Dispatch Rider BS-2 • Matric Up to 30 years
