Job Detail:
The On ground Planning and execution of Activation for for all UPL HPC brands. In addition, activation /Promotional campaigns for LMT & IMT are also within the accountability set. The complexity of brands and platforms is medium.

Key Objectives of the Job:
– Develop and roll-out activation execution plans in specialized programs i.e, Beauty centric Program, Salon Channel Management and Brand Ambassador Programs for Skin and Hair category.
– Develop and implement research based evaluations for Relevant required activations.
– Prioritising key activation projects for Beauty portfolio and own their planning & on ground execution till post evaluation.
– Develop own resource capacity of Beauty Advisors through on the job training and market orientations to become beauty specialist.
– Summarise total Skin and hair portfolio activations and harmonise the implementations in assigned channels.
– Monitor competitive brand activations and propose plans to counter on beauty platform.
– Develop 3P partners and drive performance through enabling their efficiency by monitoring them on ground and day to day training them on UPL Standards.
– Develop capabilities of existing 3Ps, to ensure UPL activations remain aligned with the company’s beauty agenda.
– Ensure that resources and infrastructure acquired and/or hired is utilised for maximum.
– Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with agreed plan.
– Develop and deploy Soft Skills as well brand specific training to on ground 3P resources and Brand Ambassadors.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Graduate, preferably MBA
Experience: 2-3 yrs experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Contacts:
– Drive UPL Beauty and talent programs via 3P agencies; for different beauty brands and platforms.
– Ensure that regional and global platforms and ideas can be localised in their execution to meet the activation objectives
– Continuous drive for quality, standardization and theatrization for beauty platforms.
– Managing multiple agencies under single activation project.

External Contacts:
– Ensuring the implementation of defined Activation protocols across the marketing team and demonstrating efficiency and effectiveness.
– Driving new innovation in UPL & UPFL activations through 3Ps to ensure that company remains in on the cutting edge of the Activation space within the entire consumer industry.

Core Skills Required:
– Ensuring the implementation of defined Activation protocols across the marketing team and demonstrating efficiency and effectiveness.
– Driving new innovation in UPL & UPFL activations through 3Ps to ensure that company remains in on the cutting edge of the Activation space within the entire consumer industry.
– Liaises with & Advises Activation Manager, Brand Managers and Asst Brand Managers on all Activations.
– Liaises with MSD and IP team for financial efficiencies.
– Liaises with and obtain information from multiple functions in CD for activity briefs, execution & planning.
– Liaises with Accounts to ensure 3P invoicing is settled promptly to ensure healthy cash flows for the 3Ps.
– Negotiates with 3Ps for rates.
– Liaises with CMI to set up Research based evaluations for measuring impact of Activations.
