UNIVERSITY OF PESHAWAR

SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited from Pakistani citizens on prescribed forms available from the Reception Counter of the University of Peshawar OR the University website www.upesh.edu.pk/jobs.htm, for the project “Strengthening of University of Peshawar” for the following (contract / fixed) positions:

1. Incharge Career Development Centre (Fixed Pay Rs.60,000/-) (One)

Qualifications:

First Class Master’s Degree (B-Grade) in M.Com/MBA/MPA/MA Economics OR Second Class Master’s Degree with M.Phil OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in M.Com/MBA/M PA/MA Economics with no 3 d Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University / Institution with 10 years Teaching/ Research/ Administrative experience at University level or at National/ International organizations.

2. Director, Fund Raising (Fixed Pay Rs.60,000/-) (One)

Qualifications:

First Class Master’s Degree (B-Grade) in M.Com/MBA/M PA/MA Economics OR Second Class Master’s Degree with M.Phil OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in M.Com/MBA/M PA/MA Economics with no 3′” Division in the academic career form an HEC recognized University / Institution with 10 years Teaching/ Research/Administrative experience at University level or at National/ International organizations.

3. Director Communication (Fixed Pay Rs.60,000/-) (One)

Qualifications:

First Class Master’s Degree (B-Grade) in Journalism & Mass Communication / English OR Second Class Master’s Degree with M.Phil OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in Journalism & Mass Communication / English with no 3 d division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University / Institution with 10 years Teaching/ Research/ Administrative experience at University level or National/ International organizations provided that in the subject of English, candidates having M.A. 2nd Division shall be eligible to apply.

4. Career Development Officer (Fixed Pay Rs.45,000/-) (One)

Qualifications:

First Class Master’s Degree/ LL.B with 06 years experience in Teaching/ Administration in a University. OR Second Class Master’s Degree/ LL.B with 10 years Teaching/Administration experience in BPS-16 or above in a University.

5. Deputy Director (Fund Raising) (Fixed Pay Rs.45,000/-) (One)

Qualifications:

First Class M.Com/MBA/Chartered Accountant and 6 years service in BPS-16 or above in the relevant field. OR 2nd Class M.Com/MBA with 10 years experience in the relevant field

6. Assistant Director (Employer Relations and Alumni Services (Fixed Pay Rs.33,000/-) (Two)

Qualifications:

First Class Master’s Degree (B-Grade) OR Second Class Master’s Degree with M.Phil OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education with no 3rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University/ Institution.

7. Assistant Director (Fund Raising) (Fixed Pay Rs.33,000/-) (One)

Qualifications:

First Class Master’s Degree (B-Grade) in MBA/ M.Com/ MPA OR Second Class Master’s Degree with M.Phil OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in MBA/ M.Com/ MPA with no 3,d Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University/ Institution.

8. Assistant Director (Communication) (Fixed Pay Rs.33,000/-) (One)

Qualifications:

First Class Master’s Degree (B-Grade) in Journalism & Mass Communication / English OR Second Class Master’s Degree with M.Phil OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in Journalism & Mass Communication / English with no 3,d division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University / Institution provided that in the subject of English, candidates having M.A. 2nd Division shall be eligible to apply.

9. Administrative Assistant (Fixed Pay Rs.15,000/-) (Three)
Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in at least 2″° division from a recognized University/Institution OR Bachelor’s Degree in at least 2″

division from a recognized University/Institution with 05 years office experience.

Screening test (written) of the eligible candidates will be held on the following schedule:

No separate call letters for screening test will be issued.

Candidates are required to submit their application forms alongwith photocopies of complete documents duly attested i.e. one recent passport size photograph, National Identity Card (NADRA), Educational Testimonials, Domicile and Experience / Service Certificates etc. with a Bank receipt / draft (non-refundable) (Account No.6290-3, National Bank of Pakistan, University Campus Branch) of Rs.1000/- for S.No.l to 9 and Rs.500/-for the remaining positions in favour of the Treasurer, University of Peshawar and should reach the Meetings Section on or before 17* April. 2015.

In-service candidates should apply through proper channel. They must submit No Objection Certificate (s) from their concerned

departments/institutions along with the application forms.

Incomplete applications and those received after due date shall not be entertained.
